Solar Eclipse (2017)
Here’s a short entry to say that I was able to photograph the solar eclipse as it appeared in Fort Worth, TX, today (August 21). First time I’ve tried something like this, and I’m sure I didn’t have the right filters and all, but I got some pictures anyway. 🙂
It started at 11:40 AM and finished about 2:40 PM. The pictures are selected times throughout. I cropped the pictures so the sun/moon would be in the middle of the picture.
The moon covered about 75% of the sun at the peak, but it seemed a bit less than that. Even so, the day was noticeably darker and the temperature noticeably cooler. And so here’s my record…
