Peru Anticipation
Well, the trip to Peru is finally only hours away. I’ve spent a lot of time anticipating it, shopping for it, talking about it; but it still hardly seems a reality. Except that I’m feeling acutely the hardest thing about leaving for any trip. Leaving my cats, Buddy Boy and Sweet Pea, is always a wrench.
We’ve been keeping each other company for 17 years now and they’re very much a part of my everyday life. I love to travel, but I’m always happy to return home to “my boys.” In the pictures, Buddy Boy is the, um, “chunkier” of the two. 😉

Linda, glad to hear you’re finally home. It’s taken me almost a week to feel like I’m really back. It was great to meet you and Kip. You were great traveling companions and I look forward to seeing you again!
